Young fulltimer has an important mission
What's different about this fulltimer? First, his age. While most fulltimers are middle-age or older, Ty Adams has yet to reach 30. And second, this youngster is not out there to explore or escape winter weather, like most of us; he's got an important message to spread, a cause that will help us all.
Read about his mission.

Carry this product when you hike with Fido or Rover
Most fulltimers travel with a pet. Here's a product you'll find helpful when you go walking or hiking with your pal. It was invented by a veterinarian, and your pet will be grateful if you carry it along. A video accompanies this post.

More Canadian RVers expected south of the border
Look for a higher number of Canadians down in boondocking country this winter. Florida has already noticed an increase. Is the weatherman predicting a harsh winter up north this year? Actually, weather has little to do with it.
Here's what's drawing the Canucks.

Quartzsite gears up for winter snowbirds
Quartzsite is getting ready for the annual influx of snowbirds. If you're a Quartzsite regular, you'll want to read both of these posts. The first is a report about some of the vendors who will be serving you this season, while the second concerns a special problem drivers will have in downtown Quartzsite.

Replenishing your water supply while boondocking
Okay, you're set up on a boondocking spot for the next few months. You've got solar panels and a generator for the batteries and a blue boy for the holding tanks. But what about water? Breaking camp every couple of weeks and driving the rig 20 miles to the nearest water supply is tedious and inconvenient.
Here are some of the ways veteran fulltimers bring water to the rig.

Latest RV recalls
Each month we list the latest recalls of RVs at RVtravel.com. Here are the most recent ones:

Full-time in a toybox
Does anyone full-time in a Toybox? We're thinking about going full-time for a couple of years. My husband wants to take his motorcycle along as well (highway bike), but we're having a hard time deciding how best to transport it. Lately Toyboxes have been looking interesting, but can you full-time in them?

New snowbirds with tons of questions
We're planning our first snowbird trip from Calgary, Alberta/Canada into the USA (down the west coast and back up through Arizona/Nevada in the spring). We have many questions and
could use more info to help organize and manage life on the road for 5 months. It's such a long time to be gone, but we're keen to give it a try and say goodbye to the snow!

Coffee maker
Anybody use the Melitta 1 to 4 cup coffee maker? When we boondock, I have been using the old stovetop percolator. I am on my second one and have tried several different filter setups. Still end up with a little sludge in the bottom of the cup. The Melitta looks good to me, but they don't sell them in stores anymore. The filters seem to be everywhere. My wife and I frequently get up a different times and this would be nice to make a cup or two at a time.

. . . And be sure to read the current issue of the RVtravel.com newsletter.

Everything in this newsletter is true to the best of our knowledge. But we occasionally get something wrong. We're just human! So don't go spending $10,000 on something we said was good just because we said so, or fixing something like we suggested (check with your own technician first). Maybe we made a mistake. So be sure to check things out.

At RVbookstore.com we strive for excellence in all we do and that's the honest truth (as opposed to the dishonest truth). Our customers receive really, really fast service. We move so fast in sending out a customer's order that sometimes we pass through the sound barrier, which really upsets our neighbors. Our motto is "You need it so we speed it," and no truer words were ever spoken!
